YEREVAN, MAY 4, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan met with members of the Public Council on May 4. The President answered numerous questions, listened to their proposals and opinions over a number of issues of public concern, and introduced his approaches.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the Office of the Armenian President, the questions addressed to the President referred to both the developments in Nagorno Karabakh conflict zone in early April, measures taken by the Armenian army during those days, Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora unity, and domestic and foreign policy of Armenia, prospects for negotiation process of Nagorno Karabakh conflict, consolidation of pan-Armenian potentials.  

The participants of the meeting shared the opinion that consolidation and unity over pan-Armenian and nationwide issues must be lasting, it is necessary that everyone acts effectively in his or her place and professional field, assisting the overall success. In this context, the expectations of the state from scientific, public-political circles, as well as from the Public Council were discussed for full utilization of the existing potentials. “No one should doubt, we will achieve the implementation of our goals with confident steps. We won in early April, we won due to our consolidated will and belief. Our victories will continue in all spheres. I expect from you, members of the Public Council, your part of support for ensuring our future victories. First and foremost, we must keep vivid the joy of the victory and confidence among the public, each of us must become a preacher of unity, unifying leader. When we are consolidated and confident of our power, no one can harm us. And today we are consolidated and confident of our power. Thus, we must do so by our public activities, deeds and words that we remain consolidated and confident in the future as well. This is my expectation from you”, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan said.
