YEREVAN, MAY 4, ARMENPRESS. “New Awakening” initiative created by Armenians of Turkey strongly condemned Turkish authorities’ new policy of targeting several MPs of Pro-Kurdish Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) and in particular the Armenian MP Garo Paylan. “Armenpress” reports, the initiative made a statement saying Garo Paylan and other MPs are not alone.

“Turkey’s ruling “Justice and Development” Party concerned over the joint struggle and the activity of people, this time targeted an Armenian MP from HDP Garo Paylan. JDP authorities, who want to isolate Kurdish people and their struggle, again conducted their discriminative and racist policy. They should know that Garo Paylan and other HDP representatives are not alone. They have been elected by our people. Such kind of policy is condemned to failure”, representatives of the initiative said.

They announced that they condemn in-advanced planned attack against Garo Paylan.
