YEREVAN, MAY 4, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Armenia Seyyed Kazem Sajjad on May 4, Press Service of Armenian Defense Ministry told “Armenpress”. The interlocutors discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and regional security.

Armenian Foreign Minister informed the Iranian Ambassador the agreements over Armenian-Iranian military cooperation reached with his counterpart during the meeting in Moscow. At the Ambassador’s request, Seyran Ohnayan presented the situation in Nagorno Karbakh and the aggressive military attacks unleashed by Azerbaijan in recent days.

Iranian Ambassador expressed his concern over the existing situation and expressed his readiness to make all efforts for establishing peace and stability. He also highlighted the importance of developing bilateral cooperation in the field of defense.
