Aronian defeats Carlsen and leads the standings
20:49, 28 April 2016YEREVAN, APRIL 28, ARMENPRESS. The leader of the Armenian chess team Levon Aronian won world champions Magnus Carlsen in the 8th round in the tournament held in the Norwegian city of Stavanger. “Armenpress” reports Aronian reached Carlsen and now they together top the standings.
Aronian-Carlsen ended on the 31st move. Aronian was playing with white figures.
