YEREVAN, APRIL 28, ARMENPRESS. The President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and RPA Faction MPs hold a meeting on April 27 which was mainly devoted to the discussion of the draft Electoral Code. Parliament President Galust Sahakyan informed journalists that they have also discussed issues on the Parliament activity and its future plans during the meeting.

Parliament President rejected the talks that the President of Armenia reprehended several MPs.

In response to the question whether RPA Faction had a gaps during this period, Galust Sahakyan stated that one of the gaps was the law which didn’t pass in the last reading. He said no one expected that at the end opposition would unite and did not participate in the voting.

He did not agree with a view that his absence is the reason that RPA Faction did not work well and stated that almost all MPs work more intensively.

Parliament President stated that there were no discussions on the recent dismissals of high-ranking military officials during the meeting. He also added that currently there are no talks on new dismissals.
