Aronian plays draw with Fabiano Caruana
19:37, 16 March 2016YEREVAN, MARCH 16, ARMENPRESS. Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian made a draw against Fabiano Caruana (USA) in the 5th round of the Candidates Tournment, held in Moscow.
As “Armenpress” reports, Aronian made a draw against Pyotr Svidler in the 4th round playing with black chess pieces. In the 5th round Aronian played with white pieces.
The tournament is attended by 8 elite grandmasters. The prize fund is 420,000 euros. The tournament is being held in Moscow from March 11 to 29. The winner of the tournament will play with the world champion Magnus Carlsen (Norway) in November, New York.
