Aronian and Svidler make a draw
20:07, 15 March 2016YEREVAN, MARCH 15, ARMENPRESS. Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian made a draw against Pyotr Svidler in the 4th round of the Candidates Tournment, held in Moscow.
As “Armenpress” reports, Aronian defeated Veselin Topalov in the 2nd round and scoring 2 points reached the leaders Viswanathan Anand (India) and Sergey Karjakin (Russia).
The tournament is attended by 8elite grandmasters. The prize fund is 420,000 euros. The tournament is being held in Moscow from March 11 to 29. The winner of the tournament will play with the world champion Magnus Carlsen (Norway) in November, New York.
