PACE anti-Armenian report cannot have any impact on negotiations over Nagorno Karabakh
conflict settlement

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 10, ARMENPRESS. PACE anti-Armenian report on Sarsang reservoir cannot have any impact on the negotiations over Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, Political scientist Sergey Minasyan expressed such opinion during the discussion in Armenian Center for National and International Studies (ACNIS).”Such reports cannot have any impact on the negotiations over Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. Military, political and economic factors have significant importance in the process of conflict resolution. But the adoption or rejection of such resolutions cannot have any influence or importance,” Minasyan said, “Armenpress” reports.

The political scientist did not agree with MP Tevan Poghosyan’s opinion whether Azerbaijan initiates anti-Armenian reports in various structures because it wants to create a reference framework for finding a proposition for further military operations. He stressed that Azerbaijan do not start war not because it cannot find a proposition for it but the military-political situation prevents it.

The political scientist does not also agree with the point of view whether Armenian delegation must also be enterprising and initiate anti-Azerbaijani reports. According to him, such reports or resolutions cannot have essential impact on the settlement of Karabakh conflict.
