YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 9, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Defense Ministry is cooperating with 102nd Russian military base in Gyumri. Works are carried out not only in the planning of military operations and training, but also in ensuring contact with the local population, Armenian defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said in the meeting with lecturers and students of Yerevan State University referring to the violations committed by the servicemen of Russian Military Base in Gyumri. “You see, we conduct large joint military activities in the frames of various events and these events create an atmosphere of mutual understanding as well,” Ohanyan emphasized, “Armenpress” reports.

He added that if there are violations, they should get their solution. “Anyhow, the changes in the command staff have been made to eliminate the existing shortcomings,” the Minister concluded.
