Armenian chess players won in 7 rounds of Iran's tournament
12:16, 4 February 2016YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 4, ARMENPRESS. Armenian chess players Karen Grigoryan and Hovhannes Gabuzyan finished their games with victories during 7 rounds of 6th Ferdowsi International Chess Open Tournament, “Armenpress” reports.
Grigoryan and Gabuzyan have scored5.5 points each. As the result they rose from the 14th and 15th positions and occupy 11th and 13th places respectively.
Russian chess player Maxim Chigaev is leading the tournament with 6.5 points.
Iran’s tournament hosts 150 chess players from 12 countries including 14 grandmasters.
