Nalbandian considers strange Turkey’s preconditions in Armenian-Turkish relations
YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 2, ARMENPRESS. It is hard to find logic in Turkish diplomacy and rhetoric, Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian said answering the question on how he will comment on the Turkish Foreign Ministry's statement whether Armenia-Turkey relations are not possible without the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. “There is nothing new in this statement. The strange thing is that Armenia has not put forward preconditions in Armenia-Turkey relations but Turkey, as a heir of the Ottoman Empire which committed the Genocide, puts forward preconditions,” Edward Nalbandian said, “Armenpress” reports.
He noted that by such actions Turkey cannot develop cooperation not only with Armenia but also with other countries.
