Police detain activists for infringing duties of a rally participant
19:01, 1 December 2015YEREVAN, DECEMBER 1, ARMENPRESS. The Police detained members of “Constituent Assembly” Gevorg Safaryan and Smbat Barseghyan before the start of the really organized by “New Armenia” initiative.
As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, they were detained under the suspicions of infringing the duties of a rally participant prescribed by Republic of Armenia law on “Freedom of Assembly”. “They were detained under those suspicions and are now submitting clarifications. They will be released when the clarifications are over”, the Police told.
