YEREVAN, DECEMBER 1, ARMENPRESS. Armenia was able to refrain from all the negative scenarios, happening in different countries of the region, thanks to wise policy conducted by the President of the Republic of Armenia and the leadership. Vice President of the National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov said the aforementioned during the meeting with journalists on December 1.

 “I ask you to have a look at the map, look what’s happening in Ukraine, the Middle East and the East. It is not like manna rained down from heaven and everything has been normal.  Today the first and foremost challenge is to resist dangers. And we are able to resist thanks to that correct policy,” “Armenpress” reports, Vice President of the National Assembly specified.

Sharmazanov added that one should not be guided by desires in current complicated conditions; one should take a realistic view of the things.

“I would also like my grandmother’s pension to increase for 20 times, mother’s salary – 50 times and my neghbour to receive money twice as much as I do.  But it is not possible. These are desires.  Today we live in a world with many problems. We live in a world with many dangers, many challenges. And as a result of the flexible policy of the President of the Republic, the Republic of Armenia has remained safe from turmoil and external challenges,” Sharmazanov concluded.
