“100 years of silence: Last survivors of Armenian Genocide” book to be presented in Rome

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 1, ARMENPRESS. “100 years of silence: The last survivors of the Armenian Genocide” titled book will be presented in Rome’s Libreria Arion Montecitorio shop on December 16. As “Armenpress” reports, the book, based on visit to Armenia, tells the Italian-spoken reader about Armenian people’s century of pain and Turkey's denial of a century.

This work, published by the support of Embassy of Armenia to Italy and "Armenpress" news agency, alongside with the witnesses and survivors of the Armenian Genocide introduces the historical reality with its factual aspects. The book is co-authored by Italian journalist, Alessandro Aramu, Gian Micalessin and Anna Macone.

“Armenian Genocide: 100 years of silence” book introduces the horrible and systematic massacre of Armenians by Turks of Ottoman Empire in 1915.

The book's authors also stated that nowadays Armenians suffer from another genocide in the Middle East; from radical Islamist ISIL group.
