YEREVAN, DECEMBER 1, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan, with U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Richard Mills, visited the Agribusiness Teaching Center of Armenian National Agrarian University which 15th anniversary of establishment is soon to expire. Rector of ANAU, Professor Arshaluys P. Tarverdyan and ICARE Director Vardan Urutyan accompanied them. As the Public Relations Department of Armenian Ministry of Agriculture informed “Armenpress”, the minister made a tour in the center, had a talk with students and with staff of teachers and professors. Sergo Karapetyan highly appreciated center’s work and knowledge and professional skills of prepared professionals.

U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Richard Mills gave an importance to the center’s activity mentioning that he was always impressed by the quality, by skills of professors and teachers expressing confidence that the knowledge, transferring to students, will assist them in confronting the challenges of the mentioned sector.

The ambassador added that USA government is proud to collaborate with such estate and they assisted the mentioned Teaching Center to become known in the sector of Agriculture in the result of which the center is attractive not only for Armenian students but also for foreign youngsters.

The guests also answered to the students’ questions during the meeting.
