YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 30, ARMENPRESS.  According to head coach of the Armenia’s Boxing youth team Karen Aghamalyan, the national team could win more medals in the European Youth competition.

“I am satisfied with the performance of boys, but I expected more medals. Our boxers were well prepared; they could wine two more medals but it did not work out for various reasons. There were equal fights, where preference is given to opponent but I do not want to only blame referees,” Armenian Olympic Committee quotes Aghamalyan’s speech, as “Armenpress” reports.

Armenian boxers won one silver (Vahe Badalyan, 52 kg) and one bronze (Alen Danielyan, 49 kg) medal in European Youth Championship, which took place on November 19-29, in the Polish city Kolobzhek.
