Gyumri mini zoo’s bears may be transferred to Romania
12:30, 28 November 2015YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS. Gyumri mini zoo’s bears may be transferred to Romania. Libearty Bear Sanctuary Animal Protection Association expressed a wish to transfer Masha and Misha bears to special natural park designed for protection and care for Romanian bears. As Gyumri Zoo director Stepan Vardanyan informed “Armenpress”, an agreement already exists over this case but an official contract was not signed yet. He said that when the contract is signed the bears will be transferred within 1 month. And it is planned that the Libearty Bear Sanctuary organization itself will cover all issues related to the transportation of animals.
If Stepan Vardanyan considers the issue of bears can be solved then the lions’ issue is unsolvable he considers.
