Turkey stabbed us in the back which is appropriate for cowards: Naryshkin

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS. Vice President of the Armenian National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov met with the Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Sergey Naryshkin in the frames of the session of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Parliamentary Assembly (CSTO PA). As Public Relations and Media Department of the Armenian NA Staff informed “Armenpress”, Eduard Sharmazanov expressed anxiety over Turkey’s shooting down of SU-24 warplane and particularly mentioned:

“Shooting down the warplane, fighting against terrorism, means to support the terrorists. The shooting down of Armenian helicopter by the order of Azerbaijan, considered as Turkey’s little brother, in the previous year maybe crated an expression for the Turkey’s political leadership that such severe crimes can remain unpunished. As we know, the world is changing, political new approaches and new situations are formed and Armenia proved that it is Russia’s strategic partner during the mentioned period and that Russian people is fraternal people to us. But Turkey, unfortunately, never changed during the last 100 years,” Eduard Sharmazanov mentioned.

Speaking of multilateral cooperation, Sharmazanov informed that Armenian National Assembly considers inadmissible any sanctions against the Parliamentarists : It cannot accommodate the "Parliament" term. Eduard Sharmazanov informed Sergey Naryshkin that Armenia welcomes Russia’s adoption of draft law criminalizing the denial of the Armenian Genocide.

Sergey Naryshkin expressed his gratitude to the Armenian Republic for supporting Russian Federation in international levels.

Sergey Naryshkin also expressed gratitude for Armenian side’s proposal to hold the session of the 2016 CSTO PA Council.
