YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. Armenia welcomes Russia’s recognition of the Armenian Genocide and always stood for Russia to adopt a law criminalizing denial of the Armenian Genocide which 4 countries have adopted since now. “So, we will see forthcoming developments,” Armenian Deputy Foreign  Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan informed “Armenpress” about this after the government session, during the meeting with journalists, referring to the question how he refers to the legal initiative of criminalizing denial of the Armenian Genocide, which was introduced in Russian  State Duma.

To the question how Russia-Turkey relations’ worsening could affect Armenia, the Deputy Foreign Minister told that it is an issue which refers to our strategic partner and on the other hand—to our neighbor. So Armenia should follow all the developments.
