French Development Agency to allocate 75 million euro for Vedi reservoir construction

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS. A credit agreement worth 75 million Euros is planned to be signed between Armenian Government and French Development Agency. “Armenpress” reports that the issue of approving the deal is included in November 26 session of the Government.
According to the justification of the bill, the implementation of the project planned by the agreement will alleviate water scarcity in Ararat valley.
Maturity date of the loan is 20 years, 6 of which is a grace period.
The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia sees it reasonable to sign the agreement.
