YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS. Eydzi Taguchi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Japan to the Republic of Armenia, hopes that Armenians will be able to get acquainted with Japanese through the movies introduced in Japanese Film Festival.

“5 movies will be introduced for this year’s Film Festival each of which is highly appreciated in Japan. I express my gratitude to Armenian Ministry of Culture and to Armenian-Japanese “Hikari” Center. Japan’s embassy was opened in Armenia in January this year. We wish to pass other cultural events to strengthen Armenian-Japanese ties,” Eydzi Taguchi mentioned during a press conference ahead of the festival.

The ambassador mentioned that another Film Festival will be organized here in January next year which topic is going to be the woman. Screenings of Japanese films will be organized in Yerevan, Gyumri and Etchmiadzin.
