Federation Council of Russia proposes to temporarily suspend all relations with Turkey

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS.  Russia has to suspend all intergovernmental relations with Turkey for downing the SU-24 “unless best times are back”. “Armenpress” reports The Council of the Federation Committee on Foreign Affairs. Chairperson of the Council of the Federation Committee on Foreign Affairs Konstantin Kosachev expressed such an opinion.

“Years long of Russia-Turkey relations were ruined within one second: trust and partnership. Distrust and enmity are back”, he wrote on his Facebook page. According to him, there are no hopes that Turkey will apologize and now Moscow waits for the response from possible global anti-terrorism coalition partners. “All intergovernmental relations with Turkey, I think, must be suspended “unless best times are back”, Kosachev concluded.

The Russian bomber was shot down over Syria by an air-to-air surface fired from a Turkish F-16 plane when the bomber was at an altitude of 6,000 meters at a distance of 1 km from the Turkish border. The jet dropped 4 km away from the Turkish border.

According to President Putin, the Su-24 plane incident in is "a stab in Russia’s back” delivered by terrorist accomplices.
