YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS. Qatar Airways will start operating Yerevan-Doha regular flights in 2016. “Armenia” International Airports” CJSC has successfully completed negotiations with Qatar Airways.

As “Armenpress” was informed by “Armenia” International Airports”, recently the negotiations were most active after <Etihad> Airlines announced its intention to suspend flights to Armenia.

“Armenia” International Airports” CJSC  is very proud that Qatar Airlines which was awarded the Best Airline of the Year for three consecutive years has elected Armenia as one of its new destinations in 2015.

Qatar Airways is one of the largest air companies in the Middle East, with very extensive network operating flights to more than 140 destinations. Qatar Airways fleet is equipped with more than 340 modern aircraft, including: Airbus A350, Airbus A380-800, Boeing 777-200, Boeing 777-300, Boeing 787-8 (Dreamliner) etc. Doha International Airport can be a convenient transit point for those who travel to the USA, the Middle and Far East from Armenia.
