YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 23, ARMENPRESS. RF President Vladimir Putin announced that no one should force the Syrians to choose a government system or a leader.

“No one can and should intervene in Syrian people’s decision to choose a government system or a leader. It must be decided solely by the Syrian people”, RF President mentioned about this in a meeting with Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

“Armenpress” reports, citing “Interfax”, he hoped that a solution for the Syrian conflict will be found which will satisfy all the religious, ethnic and political forces.

Russia continues to insist on that resignation of the acting Syrian President cannot be linked to reaching a ceasefire in the Arab country.
