YEREVAN, OCTOBER 13, ARMENPRESS. The responsibilities of the owner of “Electric Networks of Armenia” (ENA) have rather expanded after the sale. The purchasing company has also assumed new obligations which can have essential significance in the improvement of ENA financial condition.

As “Armenpress” was informed by Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia, the obligations of the owner include decreasing at least for 2% the technical losses of the company. On the other hand, the latter is obliged to prevent increase in trading losses as compared to 2014-2015 tariff years. The new owner must implement ISO international standards during the coming 5 years, improve management quality of the company and energy system.

The purchaser is responsible for ensuring 100% payments to the producers and service providers in the terms established by the agreement. As it is known, due to financial difficulties former owner was not able to fulfill that provision in time. The latter created problems for generating stations and service providers.
