YEREVAN, OCTOBER 13, ARMENPRESS. Reigning World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen won in the World Rapid chess competition finished in the capital of Germany, Berlin.
As “Armenpress” reports, Norwegian counted 11.5 out of 15 points and became a champion in the World Rapid chess. Ian Nepomniachtchi ranked 2nd and Azerbaijani Teymur Rajabov was the 3rd.
Armenian grandmasters Vladimir hakobyan was the 35th , Levon Aronian was the 43rd and Tigran Petrosian was the 56th.
On October 13, World Blitz chess competition will launch which will last 2 days.
