MOSCOW, OCTOBER 10, ARMENPRESS. President of the Union of Armenians of Russia and the World Armenian Congress Ara Abrahamyan issued a statement about his plans to form a political party and participate in the parliamentary elections of Armenia. “Armenpress” reports, citing “Novosti-Armenia”, Abrahamyan mentioned that he wants to contribute in the development of Armenia during the 5th conference of “Union of Armenians of Russia”.

“We do nothing harmful and are not afraid of anything. Armenia is also our motherland. If we do not do anything today, we will regret later”, Abrahamyan said. He emphasized that over 100 leading experts are working upon the plan of the party one of the goals of which is must be strengthening Armenian-Russian relations.
