YEREVAN, OCTOBER 8, ARMENPRESS.  Proceeds from telecommunications made 111 billion and 716.4 million drams in Armenia from January-August of the current year (nearly $236 million and 187 thousand) which is a decrease by 6.3% compared to the same period of the previous year.

As “Armenpress” was informed from Republic of Armenia National Statistical Service, proceeds from preparation and broadcasting of radio programs increased by 6.6% making 1 billion 491.3 million drams, preparation and broadcasting of radio programs increased by 3.5% making 4 billion and 128.6 million drams. Telecommunications industry recorded a decline of 6.8% making 106 billion and 96.5 million drams.
