YEREVAN, OCTOBER 9, ARMENPRESS. On the 9th of October, 2015 the First Deputy Minister of Defence of the Republic of Armenia Mr. Davit Tonoyan had a meeting with the OSCE Minsk Group French Co-Chairman Ambassador Pierre Andrieu. As the Department of Public Relations and Press Service of the Armenian Defense Ministry informed “Armenpress”, during the meeting they discussed the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani state boarder and line of contact.

Per Ambassador Andrieu's request Mr. Tonoyan introduced the details of the increase of the tension on the line of contact during the last weeks and the consequences. Attaching importance to the prevention of the further tension of the situation and to the display of constructiveness during the negotiation process, the sides exchanged views on the different opportunities of the establishment of the atmosphere of mutual trust and respect of the ceasefire regime.
