YEREVAN, OCTOBER 8, ARMENPRESS. President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan attended on October 8 the events organized on the occasion of the 2700th anniversary of Etchmiadzin. As “Armenpress” was informed by the Department of Public Relations and Mass Media of the Office to the President of the Republic of Armenia, President Sargsyan visited Vazgen Sargsyan square adjacent to Saint Hripsimé Church where he participated in the opening ceremony of V. Sargsyan memorial and laid flowers at commander’s memorial.

Sargsyan visited the newly renovated art school after Yeghishe Tadevosyan in the framework of the 2700th anniversary of Etchmiadzin. President familiarized himself with the activities carried out and school’s conditions intended for 300 pupils.  The President of the Republic of Armenia paid tribute to the memory of the victims of the Artsakh Liberation War, laid flowers at the heroes’ memorial.   

President Serzh Sargsyan participated in the solemn sitting dedicated to the 2700th anniversary of Etchmiadzin held at Etchmiadzin municipality. The residents of Etchmiadzin, many guests, honorary citizens of Etchmiadzin took part in the meeting.
