YEREVAN, OCTOBER 7, ARMENPRESS. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan invited for consultation with the participation of Shirak governor and responsible bodies of regional administration to discuss the socioeconomic situation of the first period, existing issues and the development programs.

As the Public relations and information department of the President's office of the Republic of Armenia informed “Armenpress”, President Serzh Sargsyan mentioned:

“Mister Governor, please thoroughly refer to the implementation process of such system programs, which can have positive influence on the large sectors of the province economy in your report over the socio-economic situation in Shirak province. I, particularly, would like to see where the preparation works of the Kaps reservoir recovery reached and how intensive the irrigation works of pastures are being implemented.

I would particularly like to be informed about the works fulfilled with the investor. The latest months show that we must clarify very fast the list of every unused buildings and spaces, which can easily become productive buildings. You should enlist this all, because in the conditions of existence of programs and finances, searching for such buildings are inadmissible, which cannot attract the investors and we must do our best in order to achieve the investments to be made.

I am also interested in the process of the recovery works of the non-central streets of Gyumri. We are ready to make additional efforts in this issue. The same refers to the fate of constructed apartments.”
