Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute plans to realize projects with participation of Artsakh

STEPANAKERT, OCTOBER 6, ARMENPRESS. The presentation of the book "Turkey's foreign policy and the conflict of Nagorno-Karabakh" ” by Dr. Hayk Demoyan, director of Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, and exhibition of the posters “The Armenian Genocide on the Front Pages of International Newspapers” took place at Artsakh State University on October 6 within the framework of events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of NKR National Assembly, greeting the guests, the President of NKR National Assembly, Ashot Ghulyan, highly appreciated the activities of Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute for its contribution in raising awareness of the Genocide, emphasizing the significance of Hayk Demoyan’s academic works and consistent public activities in this context.

Ashot Ghulyan is convinced that the Karabakh problem is also a consequence of the Genocide: Weakened by Turkish atrocities and aggressions, Armenia was unable to struggle for Karabakh. “The independent state of Nagorno Karabakh Republic is the response to Turkish-Azerbaijani aspirations”, the President of the Parliament mentioned.

Presenting briefly the monograph "Turkey's foreign policy and the conflict of Nagorno-Karabakh", Hayk Demoyan emphasized that the basis for it is the analysis of Nagorno Karabakh problem from the perspective of Armenian-Turkish relations and pan-Turkism. In this context, the author attached great importance to Artsakh Republic for Armenians throughout the world, urging every Armenian to contribute in the development of Artsakh.

Referring to future plans, the director of Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute mentioned that a number of important projects are planned to be implemented with participation of Artsakh.

Afterwards, Hayk Demoyan introduced the posters of “The Armenian Genocide on the Front Pages of International Newspapers” to the participants of the event and explained their content in detail.
