YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS. The Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, Movses Hakobyan, is not surprised at the existence of Turkish made weapons in Azerbaijan’s arsenal, used on Armenia-Azerbaijan and Karabakh-Azerbaijan border during the last days.

“There is no need to be surprised at Turkish traces. I dealt with Turkish arms back in April, 1994 when we confiscated weapons and means of communication. Turkey never refuted that it will support its friendly country, Azerbaijan, and the application of new arms is not something new. The enemy always practices it this year and we are aware of it”, emphasized Movses Hakobyan.
