Government to compensate damage of Tavush Province people caused by Azerbaijani shooting

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan visited the bordering communities of Tavush Province accompanied by the Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations, Armen Yeritsyan, Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Yuri Khachaturov and Tavush Governor Hovik Abovyan. The PM got acquainted with the situation and the process of implementation of projects, as well as other issues.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the Information and Public Relations Department of the Government Staff, the first stop of the head of the Government was Parvakar community. During the meeting with the community residents the Hovik Abrahamyan, referring to the tense situation on the border and the periodic cases of cease fire regime violation by the enemy,  emphasized that the authorities of the Republic of Armenia always support the residents of bordering communities and now they arrived to get acquainted with their problems. The Prime Minister mentioned that by giving tax advantages to the citizens of the bordering communities the Government does its best to support them and give a solution to their problems.

The citizens of Parvakar raised a number of issued connected with irrigation system, gasification and restoration of some parts of the roads. The head of the Executive promised to discuss those issues in the Government and give adequate solutions to them.

Hovik Abrahamyan’s next stop was in Sevkar community where the residents mentioned that the there is no panic caused by the firing of the enemy and they continue their daily life.

After Sevkar Hovik Abrahamyan visited Kot community. Kot residents thanked the PM for visiting them during the days when the enemy periodically opens fire in their direction and mentioned that they are psychologically strong as always.

The PM assured that the housing damage caused by the enemy’s fire will be compensated by the Government.
