PKK gunmen kill civilian in Turkey

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS. A man was killed after a group of Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) members blocked a road in the Şemdinli district of Hakkari on Saturday and opened fire on the car he was in, which refused to comply with their call to stop. “Armenpress” reports the aforementioned, referring to Today’s Zaman.
Driver Miran Kaya, who noticed that the group of militants had blocked the road ahead, took a sharp U-turn and tried to drive away. However, Celal İnan, who was also in the car, was killed after the Kurdish gunmen opened fire on his car with long-barrel guns. Kaya was injured in the attack.
