YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS. For decades, Aston Martins have been James Bond’s vehicles of choice and now the British brand returns the favor with a limited run model called DB9 GT Bond Edition.

Built in a limited run of only 150 units worldwide and priced at £165,000 ($252,180), the Aston Martin DB9 GT Bond Edition celebrates the release of the Spectre movie with exclusive trim, equipment and accessories that mark the brand’s more than 50-year association with the famous film franchise.

Styling upgrades include a unique Spectre Silver paint, Aston Martin badges in sterling silver and discreet ‘007 Bond Edition’ exterior badging. These add to the standard DB9 GT’s ten-spoke gloss black diamond turned 20-inch alloy wheels, bright aluminum bonnet vents, side strakes and grille, carbon fiber front splitter and rear diffuser, and grey brake calipers.

The cabin also pays a subtle homage to James Bond with unique numbered sill plaques featuring the familiar 007 logo, gun barrel embroidery on the rear seat divider and a special Bond Edition start-up screen on the AMi II Aston Martin infotainment system.

These enhancements are in addition to the standard car’s unique fluted leather upholstery, Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel and satin carbon fiber center console surround.

Power comes from the 6.0-liter V12 engine rated at 547PS (540hp) at 6,750 rpm and 620Nm (457lb-ft) of torque at 5,500 rpm. Mated to the Touchtronic II six-speed transmission with electronic shift-by-wire control system, the engine allows the DB9 GT Bond Edition to sprint from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.5 seconds and to reach a top speed of 183 mph (295 km/h).

The DB9 GT Bond Edition also comes with Bond-themed accessories including a finely-crafted 21-inch Globe-Trotter trolley case finished with an embossed leather luggage tag and an Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m James Bond Limited Edition watch complete with a unique Aston Martin strap.
