YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 3, ARMENPRESS. Within the framework of “Shant-2015” military strategic command and staff exercise, the President of the Republic of Armenia, President of the National Security Council Serzh Sargsyan convened a National Security Council session in the evening of September 3 to inform about the situation around the republic of Armenia according to the scenario of the military exercises.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the Department of Information and Mass Media of the President’s Staff of the Republic of Armenia, situational reports and proposals of the members of the Council were heard during the session. Assignments were given to relevant state bodies arising from the scenario of the military exercises.

The President of the Republic highlighted the military exercises from the perspective to test the degree of capabilities and readiness of state bodies to act operatively and effectively under some conditions.

It should be remained that the National Security Council session was convened within the framework of “Shant-2015” military strategic command and staff exercise.
