YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS. The rival keeps bordering villages of Tavush Province under fire for hours. In an interview with “Armenpress” the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Artsrun Hovhannisyan mentioned that the fire is directed at several villages simultaneously. He assessed the situation as “tense”, adding that the shooting is rather heavy. “I can say that at the moment bordering villages of Tavush Province are under fire. The rival conducts intensified shooting and I would assess the situation as very serious and tense. Armenian Armed Forces retaliate to the shootings of the enemy. At this moment the enemy has not silenced”, informed Artsrun Hovhannisyan, adding that he has no information about casualties at the moment.
