Inspection body to be established in Armenian market

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS. The 13th session of the Coordinating Council of inspection reforms took place in the Government chaired by the Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan. As “Armenpress” was informed from the Information and Public Relations Department of the Government Staff, the Council discussed and approved the establishment of an inspection body with its charter and structure. It was reported that new management system, new principles of discussions and new approaches for public awareness will be introduced in the newly established inspection body, which will foster the effectiveness of the activities of the inspection body.

PM Abrahamyan, highlighting the reforms in the field of inspection, mentioned that steps have been taken in that direction in the Republic of Armenia since 2009. According to the head of the Government, the law on “Inspection bodies” was adopted in 2014 which was the most important step of the Government aimed at optimization of the Inspection system.

According to Hovik Abrahamyan, the establishment of the inspection body in the Armenian market will become the first pilot body aimed to ease the creation of inspection bodies.
