Military attaches accredited in Republic of Armenia were presented with objective of “Shant 2015” Exercises
14:26, 2 September 2015YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS. On September 2 a briefing for military attaches of countries accredited in the Republic of Armenia and representatives of international organizations was held in the Department of Defense Policy of Republic of Armenia Defense Ministry.
“Armenpress” was informed from the Department of Information and Public Affairs of Republic of Armenia Defense Ministry that the aim of the briefing was to raise military and diplomatic corp’s awareness on “Shant 2015” Military Command and Staff Exercises held in the Republic of Armenia September 3-6.
The representatives of Republic of Armenia Defense Ministry noted that nationwide event “Shant 2015” Exercises are aimed at raising the level of state’s immediate preparation for defense, military and state bodies mobilization preparedness in repulsing the act of aggression, rechecking the ability of bringing to high degree of readiness and raising the level of harmony in cooperation and actions.
It was informed that taking into account the military and political situation surrounding Armenia the scenario of the Exercises includes а fictious rival and the situation is maximally adapted to reality.
