“We have created a Commission studying the international experience of transport field and it has already reached certain phases but at the moment there is not any issue relating to changes in Yerevan public transport fee. We asked the companies providing service to Yerevan public transport to continue ensuring uninterrupted operation of Yerevan public transport till the end of the Commission’s studies.”, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan said the abovesaid in his talk with “Armenpress” adding that Yerevan Municipality will organize thorough discussions on the matter with all the interested parts of our society.

He also noted that currently Yerevan Municipality discusses the matter of implementation of integrated card system for Yerevan public transport.

“It will be a great achievement for our city. Naturally both students and retirees will have privileges and advantages. It is primary for us that any reform implemented in Yerevan reflects our citizens’ interests and doesn’t hurt them.”, said Margaryan.
