Armenian Foreign Affairs Ministry: Damascus Armenian populated areas are not under IS terrorists control

“According to the data of the Embassy of Armenia in Syria the news that terrorists seized Armenian populated areas in Damascus does not correspond to reality”, “Armenpress” reports that Spokesman of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Tigran Balayan posted the aforementioned on his Facebook page.
Information was spread yesterday that ISIS terrorists were getting closer to the center of Damascus. BBC correspondent had reported earlier that IS was in the Southern outskirts of Syria capital.
