YEREVAN, AUGUST 31, ARMENPRESS. Human Right Defender of the Republic of Armenia, Karen Adreasyan, will introduce his conclusion over the Constitutional reforms within the upcoming days as he received the draft days ago.

“Professional conclusion will be introduced referring to those chapters that deal with human rights. The positive and negative points recorded by us will be included in the final conclusion”, “Armenpress” reports that Karen Andreasyan told the journalists about this after the government session.

To the question what measures he will undertake if many negative points are included I the draft, the Human Rights Defender said that he will join neither the “yes” nor the “no” camps because his mission is to be excluded from political processes. “During the coming week we will answer the question what we consider achievement and what we consider regression. I have nothing to do. I will join neither the “yes” nor the “no” camps because my mission is to be excluded from political processes so as not to politicize the institute. We will rather follow the general discussions and later the process of referendum retaining the neutrality of the institution”, the Ombudsman said.
