According to the data released by the National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia 4.4% economic growth was registered in the 1st half of the current year. “Armenpress” informs that Hovik Abrahamyan stated the latter during the Government session. “According to the clarified data, we had 2,5 percent of GDP economic growth in the first quarter and 5,1 percent – in the second. As a result we have semester economic growth of 4.4 percent. In conditions of significant reduction of foreign transfers, the growth in agriculture is specifically important which seriously softens the loss of purchasing power of our citizens preconditioned by external factors. Nowadays we make more exports to different countries.”, said Abrahamyan.
