Richard Mills: Achievements of joint work speak about firm and durable partnership between
Armenia and USA

YEREVAN, AUGUST 28, ARMENPRESS. On August 28, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Seyran Ohanyan, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USA to Armenia, Richard Mills, attended the graduation ceremony of training courses of military medical personnel by the US Armed Forces. There are 12 Armenian graduates from the course.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the Department of Information and Public Affairs of the Defense Ministry, 6 servicemen of the US Ground Forces delivered lessons to Armenian colleagues during the last 3 months. The training courses were conducted within the framework of Armenian-American bilateral military cooperation and aimed to improve the quality of first aid delivered to injured soldiers.

The Defense Minister of the Republic of Armenia expressed gratitude to the American side and congratulated the graduates.

“Firm and durable partnership between Armenia and USA once again demonstrates what kind of achievements we can make when we work jointly. Today’s graduation ceremony is another example of continues rising and strengthening of bilateral cooperation. I know that our partnership will be reinforced parallel to our future efforts made to withstand challenges against security and stability. Challenges that no country is able to withstand on its own. In order to withstand the current challenges, cooperation of countries with similar mentality and approaches is required and our today’s event proves that Armenian-American cooperation goes on vigorously”, Ambassador Mill mentioned.

The training courses will be continuous.
