YEREVAN, AUGUST 28, ARMENPRESS. Khachaturyan Trio will have concerts dedicated to the Armenian Genocide in 4 countries. Trio pianist Armine Grigoryan told “Armenpress” that the trio is very enthusiastic about the forthcoming concerts.

“We will give concerts in Germany, Japan, Russia, Spain starting from September. One of our concerts will be held in Tokyo at a very prestigious concert hall; Suntory Hall. Tokyo tour is organized by the local Embassy of Armenia on the Ambassador’s personal initiative. We must note that travel costs are covered by the State Commission on Coordination of the Events Dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. It is a great honor for us to perform and introduce our art and the creations of the Armenian composers.”, noted Armine Grigoryan.

The trio will also perform in Russia in September-November.

The trio has also plans concerning Armenia. They will present a new CD including works by Armenian composers dedicated to the anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in September. The CD is called “Armenian Masterpieces”.
