TSAKHKADZOR, AUGUST 27, ARMENPRESS. The closing celebration of “Heirs of Victory: 2015” military sports gathering is launched in Tsakhkadzor. Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan attended the event.

Seyran Ohanyan attached great importance to this event in an interview with journalists, stressing that he is satisfied with the process and the results. According to the Minister, most important thing is that the competitions were conducted in a friendly atmosphere where unity and friendship won. “I have reiterated several times that the values acquired by my generation and the previous generation must be transmitted to the future generations so as not to make the achievements and victories in vain. This event is a brilliant example of that: it is also very important that the young people acquired military knowledge, interacted with each other and discover new people, new countries”, “Armenpress” reports, Ohanyan emphasized.

During the event the representatives of participant countries will perform cultural, dancing and theatrical plays.

“Union 2015: Heirs of Victory” military and sports gathering is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Great Patriotic War and aims to develop patriotism and friendship among the children.
