Armenia’s Prosecutor General attends session of Coordinating Council of Prosecutors General of CIS Member States
YEREVAN, AUGUST 27, ARMENPRESS. The 25th jubilee session of Coordinating Council of Prosecutors General of CIS Member States, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the institution took place in Astana. As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office, delegations of CIS Prosecutors General attended the forum.
President of the Coordinating Council of Prosecutors General of CIS Member States, Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, Yuri Chayka, underlined in his welcome speech the importance and relevance of the discussed issues in the context of new challenges and threats emerging in the region.
Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia mentioned that the Coordinating Council of Prosecutors General of CIS Member States has proved during these 20 years that it is an irreplaceable and effective platform for combating crime.
“The Republic of Armenia attaches great importance to international cooperation, which is implemented within the framework of acting bilateral and multilateral international agreements, as well as based on the principles of reciprocity and good will”, Kostanyan mentioned.
