France 3 films documentary about Armenian Genocide
YEREVAN, AUGUST 27, ARMENPRESS. French television company France 3 filmed a 55-minute documentary about the Armenians and the Armenian Genocide entitling it “Spring of the Armenians”.
As “Armenpress” reports, referring to Nouvelles d'Armenie, it is mentioned in the lead of the documentary that 100 years had passed since the Armenian Genocide during which more than one million Armenians were killed and forced to migration.
“Eradicating the Armenians over the years from their motherland resulted in the formation of different “diasporas”. Turkey officially rejects the Armenian Genocide, trying to artificially “clean” the traces of Armenian presence in that territory.”, says the movie.
The movie tells about French Armenian Artin Varoujan who once swore never to set foot in Turkey but then decided to discover his ancestor’s land. “It was a discovery for him that a great number of Armenians in disguise had managed to survive the 1st Genocide of the century and never left Turkey.”, unfolds the documentary.
The film will be shown on August 31, at 23:25, Paris time.
