President receives Ambassador of Ukraine to Armenia

YEREVAN, AUGUST 25, ARMENPRESS. President Serzh Sargsyan received Ivan Kukhta, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Armenia, on August 25, on the completion of his diplomatic mission in Armenia. As “Armenpress” was informed from the Department of Information and Mass Media of the Presidential Staff of the Republic of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan expressed gratitude to Ambassador Kukhta for his investment in strengthening friendship between Armenia and Ukraine and for proper implementation of his diplomatic mission. The President of the Republic wished Ivan Kukhta success in his future career.

The President of the Republic of Armenia and the Ukrainian Ambassador agreed that Armenia treats Ukraine and the Ukrainian nation with respect. In that regard Ivan Kukhta noted with satisfaction that he once again felt the warmness and solicitous attitude during the meeting with the Ukrainian community in Armenia. He assured that there is similar attitude towards the active Armenian community in Ukraine.

Ambassador Kukhta expressed gratitude to the President of the Republic and all state institutions for productive cooperation and support during his tenure.

The interlocutors hoped that peace will be reestablished in Ukraine as soon as possible which will also create new opportunities to fully utilize the potential of the two countries in economic and other spheres.
